GENERAL INFORMATION: |
Thank you for your interest in Family Helpers' baby-sitting service. This service is provided to families in search of on-call, occasional evening baby- sitters. All Helpers (baby-sitters) are prescreened by Family Helpers prior to their names being provided to Clients.
There is a $40 fee paid to Family Helpers for scheduling a Helper for the day/evening. The Client makes all baby-sitting requests by phoning Family Helpers. If a family needs to cancel a sitting date that has already been arranged, the family is not obligated to pay the Helper if the cancellation is made more than 24 hours in advance. If the cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled hour for the baby-sitting job to begin, the family is obligated to pay the Helper for three hours of her normal baby-sitting rate. In either case FHI will charge its regular placement fee. Helpers may only take the children swimming if another adult (or lifeguard) is present. Helpers are not to bathe the children.
Hourly rates for Helpers range between $15 and $20 and holiday rates may be higher. The rate may also be higher for children with special needs. If more than one family is employing the same sitter in one room, the sitter shall be paid $20/hr. for 2, 3, or 4 children. If there are four children in one room, only one child may be under the age of two. Please remember that there is a three-hour minimum per evening/occasion of baby-sitting.

Client agrees to hold harmless and indemnify FHI for any claims by or against Helper or Client related to Client's us of baby-sitters.
Client further acknowledges that the names, addresses and phone numbers of Helpers are proprietary information of FHI. Client agrees not to disclose or disseminate the information of Helpers to any other party.
