Permanent/Long-Term Nanny Services |
Thank you for your interest in Family Helpers long-term
placement service. This service is for families seeking full-time
or part-time help (minimum 8 hours/week), provided on a set
schedule (same days/hours every week). To apply for this
service please complete the application form below and a
representative from Family Helpers will contact you to discuss
your job opening in more detail.
Family Helpers charges a nonrefundable consultation fee of $75
due at time of registration. This fee is considered a deposit and
will be credited on the final client invoice. The agency placement fee for this service is 12% of the Helper's first year annualized gross compensation.

Date Night/Baby-Sitting Services |
This service is for people seeking regular, on-call childcare, but
only when they need it. All of the sitters who are part of this
service are thoroughly screened and have professional childcare experience. The screening consists of an interview, reference checks
and background checks.
The registration fee for this service is $100 for a six month period. The fee entitles you to a discount every time you use a Family
Helpers’ sitter. So, if you think you will be using a sitter at least 2X/month you will save a bundle by joining the sitting service.
You will pay a $15 agency fee every time we schedule a sitter for you, as opposed to a minimum of $25 for clients not on the sitting
service. In addition, the hourly rates of the sitters are $1 less on the service.
It’s a great time to begin enjoying some quality time away from the children, while they are at home playing games and having fun
with an experienced, mature and happy Helper. To begin using the sitting services please complete the application below. Once we
receive your application we will contact you to discuss in detail your family’s needs.

Temporary & On-call Childcare Services |
Thank you for your interest in Family Helpers’ temporary service. This service is provided to families in need of on-call, occasional
help. Although, advanced notice is appreciated, Family Helpers is able to place a screened, experienced Helper in your home, with
only a few hours notice! Temporary job requests may be for one day (4 hour minimum) to several weeks or months. All Helpers
providing temporary and on-call services have passed Family Helpers’
rigorous screening, which includes interviews, reference checks and
background checks, and all have professional childcare experience.
Temporary services include sick child care, newborn specialists, doula
services, summer nannies, and all other services that are needed for a
limited amount of time.

Fees: The Helpers are paid an hourly rate by the client. The rates vary
and are based on the job requirements.
*There is an additional agency fee of 20% of the Helper’s salary
(minimum $25/day) paid by the client to Family Helpers.
*Short-notice Fees: For Helpers placed to work on a holiday or for any
Helper requests made less than 48 (business) hours in advance, the fee to Family Helpers is $40.
Rules for babysitters: Helpers may only take a child/children swimming if another adult or a lifeguard is present. Helpers are not to
bathe children.

Hotel Baby-Sitting Service |

Thank you for your interest in Family Helpers’ hotel baby-sitting service.
Family Helpers is able to provide hotel baby-sitting for guests staying in
Westchester County, Rockland County and Fairfield (CT) County.
All of the hotel baby-sitters are subject to the same thorough screening as our
full-time Helpers. This screening includes a personal interview, reference
checks and background checks. All hotel baby-sitters have professional
childcare experience.
To arrange for an experienced baby-sitter to care for your children please
complete the application below. We will contact you with the sitter’s
information. We are happy to provide detailed information and references on
all of our hotel sitters.

Adult Care/Companion Care |

Thank you for your interest in Family Helpers Companion service. This is a service provided to
clients in need of companionship. The duties of the Helper may include light housekeeping, meal
preparation and transporting client to appointments. The Helpers will also provide quality interaction. Our companions
are not nurses and are not able to dispense medication, although they may supervise their client
taking his/her medication.
To register for Adult Care/Companion please complete the following application. Once Family
Helpers receives your paperwork a representative from Family Helpers will contact you to discuss your
needs in more detail. Companions earn $15-$20 per hour and the agency placement fee for this service is 12% of the companions first year annualized gross compensation.

Housekeeping Services |
Thank you for your interest in Family Helpers’ housekeeping service. This service is for
clients seeking regular housekeeping services (at least 1X/week) on a regular schedule. Family
Helpers’ housekeepers all have a minimum of 2 years professional housekeeping experience
and excellent references. Housekeepers are thoroughly screened; the screening includes an inperson
interview, reference checks and background checks.
Housekeepers do full cleaning, laundry, ironing, errands and light meal preparation. They
may care for children if they have childcare experience. Housekeepers earn $20 - $25 per hour and the agency placement fee for this service is 12% of the housekeepers first year annualized gross compensation.
